0.2. Release Date

Hello everyone,

We would like to inform you about the upcoming release of a new version of our game, expected to be either on February 1, 2023, or February 2, 2023., we are still making some minor text adjustments. On January 31, we will conduct a check of active Patreons and introduce their names into the game.

Transition to Godot

Now, let's get into the technical aspect and the reason for our transition to Godot. The main reason was the extremely slow loading of Renpy and issues with smooth performance on certain devices. Godot allows for more efficient utilization of computational power and ensures stable gameplay. It also enables us to integrate animations directly into the game and even add mini-games. Unfortunately, Ren’Py was designed specifically for visual novels, while Godot is a more versatile platform, which comes with some challenges. We had to create our own VN elements. This can increase the risk of errors and bugs that are not common. We are trying to prevent these issues, but it's impossible to rule out that some deficiencies may occur. Nevertheless, we hope they will be minimal and not affect the core gameplay.

Texts

We have been gradually improving the texts, but we have never been entirely satisfied with their quality, primarily due to a lack of empathy with the characters. Therefore, we have added a professional writer to our team who, after thorough analysis, wants to rework all the texts, including those from the original author. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accomplish this before the next release. Hence, we have decided to revise the main storyline, Fuka's stories, school events, and work-related events. The Sonata and Miyoko storylines are currently same like before. Miyoko will undergo a rework in the next version, and we are still working on Sonata's story, which will be released alongside Miyoko's. The Fuka romantic storyline has been expanded but the rework was very time-consuming, so in this update, only the romantic path will be available, and the corrupted path will be accessible later. We also plan to add more content to the romantic storyline, including additional CGs with Satori and changes for the next version, allowing you to build a romantic or friendly relationship with Miyoko.

Animations

We are still working on animations, but progress is slower than originally planned. Due to the complexity of animations, we have decided to slightly delay their release, but they will certainly be available later this month. We plan to release two versions - one with animations and the other with the corrupted Fuko storyline. The Fuko animations will be completed later, probably in about 2 months.

Two Versions 0.2 and 0.2.1 

We also want to announce that we will release two versions - 0.2 and 0.2.1. Version 0.2 will be a demo version running on Godot and will be available on itch.io. This version includes Fuka's storyline, but some erotic scenes will be missing, and the content of Miyoko, Sonata, and Satori will be locked. The content of these characters will be available only in version 0.2.1 on our Patreon. When we finish corrupted version of Fuka, romantic version will be for free.
